Ring type joints are heavy duty, high pressure gaskets largely used in offshore petrochemical applications. All ring type joints are manufactured according to ASM B16.20 and are available in various different styles and materials which are listed below.

  • Used for high pressure applications
  • High integrity seal at high pressures
  • Suitable for flat bottom groove flanges
  • Max pressure - Up to class 5000
  • Used for high pressure API applications
  • Efficiency of seal improves with increasing internal pressure.
  • Suitable for API 6BX flanges
  • Max pressure - Up to class 20,000
